I acknowledge that all young women, including myself, have been
endowed with grace, beauty and charm.
I acknowledge that I have two choices as to how I will use my
grace, beauty and charm. First, I can use it to attract others to
gracefulness, beauty and charm, and I can plant this seed in others by my
pure and proper dress and behavior. On the other hand, I can choose to
use it to attract young men to me in order to get momentary love and
attention for myself--even love and attention at any price.
I hereby choose, before the undersigned witnesses, to not exchange
my gracefulness, beauty and charm for momentary love and attention at any
cheap price. Rather, I will cherish and protect my grace, beauty and
charm and use such, for the rest of my life, to plant beauty, charm and
gracefulness in others around me. I will always endeavor to bring out
gallantry (that is, courtesy and honesty toward women) in the young men I
meet through my dress, demeanor and conversation.
This, my vow, I have made in the presence of the undersigned two
witnesses on this, the 20 day of May, 1998.
