WONDERFUL DAYS: WHO, WHY, WHAT, WHERE AND HOW?

Who? Wonderful Days is a Non-Profit Corporation which provides its booklet, A Sneak Preview of The Two Most Wonderful Days of Your Life, its abstinence video presentation, and its website to our nation's youth in order to encourage abstinence. Wonderful Days encourages and supports our National-State Abstinence Education Campaign, 42 U.S.C. ' 710.

Why? Wonderful Days exists for the sole purpose of helping young ladies experience the two most wonderful, revered days of their life and helping young men experience character building and the very best in life with their female friends and their wives-to-be.

What? What brings out the very best in a young woman more than that most special day in her life -- her wedding? Her wedding is the day when she will be the most beautiful person of all those in attendance -- not even a movie star can up-stage her. What greater glory for a young woman than when she brings her first child into this world -- a true miracle of life unprecedented by anything in this world. And, what greater honor than to have trained, during their courtship, her now husband in the character trait of self-control? She helps train the men of our nation to use self-control, and to not, after their marriage, run off after the first flirt that comes along, abandon his family when the going gets tough, abuse his wife by failing to exercise self-control, and abuse his children by failing to exercise self-control?

When does she train him? During their courtship days. How does she train him? By letting him know that she is a pure virgin, will remain such until her wedding night, and that she expects him, if he is going to marry her, to exercise self-control, take responsibility for not placing them in a compromising situation, show respect and honor to her by not asking her to lower her standards, and by being the man she can look to, respect and follow should they later marry. The young girls in our nation have an essential role. They are extra-special. If they fail, then future families and our nation will fall. If they succeed, families, communities, and our nation will stand and will stand strong. They are a nation's last line of defense! Need proof? Leviticus 19:29.

And, what brings more respect and honor to a young man than marrying that perfect young lady whom he can love and cherish all of his life and whom he can trust to be the mother of his children?

How? How can you help encourage sexual purity and strong families among our youth? You can:

1. Acquire the Wonderful Days booklet, A Sneak Preview of The Two Most Wonderful Days of Your Life, and give it to your daughters as you sit down and discuss remaining pure for their wedding day with them.

2. Acquire and distribute the Wonderful Days booklet, A Sneak Preview of The Two Most Wonderful Days of Your Life, to your church and other youth groups, and to public and private schools in your community.

3. Acquire by license, and show the Wonderful Days video to kids in your community. Click here for information and the video

Wonderful Days will give a maximum of five of its booklet, A Sneak Preview of The Two Most Wonderful Days of Your Life, to you if you will commit to distribution of the booklet within sixty days from your acquiring such. While Wonderful Days does not charge for the first five (5) for its booklet, it certainly does not turn down contributions. :-) Copies in excess of 5 are $1.00 each. You are also welcome to copy, use and distribute the booklet in your abstinence-only programs. How can you distribute the booklet to public schools? You must first determine the laws, rules and regulations in your state for distribution of "sex education" material or programs to public schools. (We would like for you to submit a summary of what you find to Wonderful Days so we, in turn, can post it on our website. This will help others within your state.) Texas, the home state of Wonderful Days, requires that sex education (and abstinence education) materials be first approved by the local school board and local health and education advisory council. The following is a sample of how the distribution would be arranged in Texas. Your state may have similar laws, but, on the other hand, there are probably some variations. Hopefully you can also arrange for showing of the video at the same time.

TEXAS PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRIBUTION

1. Contact the superintendent of your school district with a letter which explains your request and the procedure.

2. After approval by your school board, local health education advisory council, and superintendent, determine the number of booklets needed for distribution to the teenage female youth within the district.

3. E-mail Wonderful Days to order your booklets. Remember, the first five are free, but any extras are $1.00 each.

4. Upon receipt of the booklets, (and video, if you agree to use it under our license agreement) arrange through the school principal(s) for a distribution time and date.

5. Sample essay and speech subjects follow for students who want to encourage abstinence among their peers.

RE: Abstinence Motivation Booklet

Dear [MR./MRS./MS.] [LAST NAME]:

Abstinence education on a nationwide basis is now being encouraged and even funded by our federal government, pursuant to Title 42, U.S. Code ' 710, part of the 1996 Welfare Reform Act. A copy of the section is enclosed. We would like to show a sexual abstinence presentation video and give the enclosed booklet, A Sneak Preview of the Two Most Wonderful Days of Your Life, to your students. The booklet is designed to encourage young women to choose sexual purity and its resulting benefits. Hopefully, you will find that the enclosed booklet does just that, and you may want to read it now before continuing this letter. The video of the sexual abstinence presentation can be viewed by you prior to showing your students.

The booklet is available in English and in Spanish. It also has an Internet website, a source of student involvement and of continuing abstinence education and training to your students. Hopefully, your students will become excited about and participate in the student abstinence essay, speech, song, poem, cartoon, art, and media critique program. Their input will be most helpful to abstinence education providers.

If you would like for your students to view the video presentaion and the booklet, here are the State of Texas guidelines which you may find helpful:

1. Senate Bill 1, now codified as Section 28.004 of the Texas Education Code (copy enclosed), provides that course materials relating to human sexuality and sexually transmitted diseases shall be selected by local school boards with the advice of their local health education advisory councils. It sets forth five requirements for the materials. Subsection E provides that a school district shall establish a local health education advisory council to assist the district in ensuring that local community values and health issues are reflected in the instruction. (There is no requirement regarding the number of members of the health education advisory council, so probably three or more are sufficient.) Subsection F sets forth the duties of the council, and Subsection H provides for parental notification regarding the district's human sexuality instruction. Also enclosed is a checklist which you may want to use to assist in compliance by your district with Senate Bill 1.

2. Show the video of the abstinence presentation, and the booklet to the school board and ask their approval for presentation to your students after parental notification.

4. Notify the parents of your students:

  1. that your district would like to present the video program and booklet to the students.
  2. of their right to remove their child from any part of the presentation, and
  3. that the booklet, the video presentation, and the Internet website are available at the schools or via their personal internet access for public inspection.

Thank you for this opportunity to serve you, your students, and our community. We trust the video program and booklet will be a motivating factor for your students to truly enjoy the two most wonderful days of their lives, unencumbered by the problems of premarital sex.

Sincerely,

[YOUR NAME]

STUDENT INTERNET PROGRAM

(AMERICA PURE)

ESSAYS, SPEECHES, ART, SONGS, CARTOONS AND MEDIA CRITIQUE

WONDERFUL DAYS

a Texas Non-Profit Corporation

Internet Website: http://www.days.org

Students, the abstinence education providers in the State of Texas need your help. Pursuant to new federal and state programs, the benefits of sexual purity and abstinence before marriage are to be taught in schools across our state and nation. Because this is something unique, we abstinence education providers need your ideas, suggestions and thoughts about the subject so we can become better teachers.

Therefore, we would like for you to help us with essays, speeches, songs, poems, art, cartoons, and media critique. We, in turn, will endeavor to use your talents and input to develop better abstinence education programs for state and nation. Each month we will select some of your presentations about abstinence until marriage and your artwork of the preborn child to reproduce on our Internet website under the America Pure Section. For samples of artwork, you can see photos of the preborn child in our booklet, A Sneak Preview of the Two Most Wonderful Days of Your Life. Write your essays and poems, record your speeches, and send them to Wonderful Days, the booklet publisher, so it, in turn, can distribute your ideas to the abstinence teachers across our state and nation.

Here are the guidelines for your essays, poems, and speeches:

1. Select any subject relating to sexual purity and abstinence until marriage. Attached is a list of some subjects you can consider. And, you will think of others.

2. Please limit your essays and poems to two pages so we can have ample time to read them all. There is no limit on how many essays and poems you can send us--as many as you like and as often as you want.

3. Please begin your essay and poems with your name, school, school address, class, age, and subject matter. Use our computer e-mail, if you prefer.

4. Have your essay and poems approved by your parent, parents or guardian.

5. Limit your speech to no more than two minutes.

6. You can tape your speeches and send them to us if you would like.

7.Please begin your speech (and label the tape) with your name, school, school address, class, age, and subject matter.

8. Your speech must be approved by your parents or guardian, or by one of your school teachers or your principal.

Wonderful Days corporation will make your songs, cartoons, art, essays, poems, and speeches available to our abstinence teachers each year. We will also present some of your essays to newspapers across the state with the request that they be published in their Letters to the Editor sections. If you do not want us to make your work public, please notify us.

You might think, "But how can I win with my entry from among others from around the state?" In this program, we will all be winners. The abstinence teachers and groups who receive your input and ideas will definitely be better qualified to teach abstinence education to students. It is your input and insight which are most important to us. Your parents, teachers and principals will be winners in that they will be able to take part and become involved in this most important of matters. Other students in the state will benefit from your projects in that they will have the opportunity to learn from your ideas which we share with them. You will become winners in that when you do your research and work on your projects, it will motivate you to think deeply about decisions which will affect your entire life. Once you take a stand for self-control, orally or in writing, this commitment will help you uphold your standards at times when you most need strong convictions.

Thanks for your help.

FOOTNOTES

Leviticus 19:29. Do not profane your daughter by making her a harlot, so that the land may not fall to harlotry, and the land become full of lewdness.

Profane: Strong's Exhaustive Concordance shows this Hebrew word, chalal (number 2490), to mean to bore, i.e. (by implication) to wound, to dissolve; figuratively, it means to profane (a person...), to break (one's word).

When a father wounds the spirit of his daughter, he dissolves her love and respect for him, he bores a hole in the water dike of her security system, and this, in turn, will break her self-esteem and her trust in her dad which is so essential if she is to remain pure for her wedding day. He will cause her to become profaned.

THE LAVER
(Exodus 38:8)
(Hey! Where did all those women come from?)

Moreover he [Bezalel] made the laver of bronze with its base of bronze from the mirrors of the serving women who served at the doorway of the tent of meeting. (N.A.S.B.)

Is this passage for today? If so, what is at least one of the many (Psm. 119:96) applications of the passage? Does this passage have application today to the abstinence movement which has so many "serving women" and so few "serving men?" On Sabbath, June 5, 1999, before the morning meeting of the National Abstinence Clearinghouse Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona, my eyes fell upon this passage as I was about to commence reading Exodus 38:9-20 regarding the court around the tabernacle. Suzy and I briefly wondered about the verse. Later that day as I observed so many women, and so few men in the audience, I wondered, why such a high ratio of women? The Spirit then led me to reflect upon this verse. Let's remember that the biblical tabernacle in the wilderness is a picture of Yahweh's requirements for mankind and Him to be able to tabernacle/dwell together, Exodus 25:8. After entering the gate to the tabernacle courtyard complex, the person first came to the altar, then the laver, then, via the blood of the sacrifice and via representation by the High Priest, ultimately into the very presence of the Creator of heaven and earth Himself who dwelt above the ark of the covenant within the Holy of Holies section of the tabernacle. And remember that whatever was written in the scriptures in earlier times was written for our instruction today, Romans 15:4 and 1 Corinthians 10:11.

The Serving Women. The word "women" is not in this Exodus 38:8 passage. Rather, the Hebrew word "tsa-ba" (servant) (Strong's Exhaustive Concordance1 no. 6633) is evidently feminine in form. The word "women" has been added by the translators for better readability. And, it is evident that women, not men, would have possessed the mirrors. Scripture does not tell us that this service at the doorway of the tent of the meeting was assigned by Yahweh to women. Could it be that Yahweh sometimes simply waits for the need to arrive, and then watches for volunteers to step forward to use their talents of help and service? Could this be one way He spots a real servant's heart? Women are very apt at helping others "get every hair in place" and at adjusting the attire of others so they will be very presentable. They are much more talented in this than men. Women often have more of a talent to "read" a person's appearance and help them become clean and presentable in order to approach the Holy of Holies, i.e., our Creator Himself. And, one thing is for sure about them, they had a servant's heart because they gave up one of their most precious possessions, their mirrors.

After the women gave their mirrors for construction of the laver, they would then be unable to show those they served who wanted to enter into the tabernacle gates the "dirt on their face" and what needed to be groomed. Therefore, they probably had to become very apt at explaining what "needed fixing." As they "gave up" one talent - their mirrors, they probably gained another - the increased ability of speech and articulation, Matthew 25:16. And, these women had to be very observant of the priests and the rules and regulations so they would know how to assist the people in becoming prepared to move towards the Holy of Holies. And, today, it is generally the women who are very observant of our High Priest and Savior Himself, and His Word (rules and regulations), who know how to assist youth with abstinence until marriage so these kids can move towards the heavenly Holy of Holies.

Mirrors. "...from the mirrors of the serving women..." The laver and its base were made from the copper mirrors of the serving women. Mirrors, Strong's no. 4759, "mar'ah," means a mirror or a vision. It is rendered once by the King James translators as mirrors (Ex. 38:8) and ten times as vision. And, truly, many women today in America have a vision for our nation–a vision of purity, virginity for marriage, and self-control–fundamentals for the success of any nation. A vision is defined by the American Heritage Dictionary as . . . (2) confidence in discernment or perception; intelligent foresight. . . . (6) a person or thing of extraordinary beauty. Yahweh uses the visions (intelligent foresight) of the serving women (persons of extraordinary beauty) to build His cleansing laver of today. He uses their unusual confidence in discernment and perception. He uses their intelligent foresight to build His spiritual laver. But why mirrors? Why not pots, pans, etc., which the women owned? The mirrors were probably more precious to women who like to look pretty and presentable than were their other bronze utensils. When these women gave up that which was most precious to them, Yahweh could truly use them as servants to help the nation approach Him through the gate of the tabernacle. These women had to be more concerned about how others looked to Yahweh than how they themselves looked. This is a typical servant's heart. In James 1:23-25, mirrors picture Yahweh's Torah or law. Again, they were willing to give their teaching, law, and Torah ("directive standards"), so that it might bless others.

Did they have goals and visions of a personal nature? Not near to the extent they had goals and a vision for others of reaching the Holy of Holies. Therefore, they did not "copyright" their mirrors, i.e. their visions. They were willing to give and share. Each of their little mirrors (visions/programs) were "lost" and became indistinguishable when they were melted down into the final product - the laver and its stand. Their mirrors lost their identity. We abstinence presenters must be willing to "lose our identity", our visions and programs, for the good of others as we die to ourselves that others might live.

These mirrors would reveal what needed to be cleaned or rearranged in each person who owned the mirror. Once it became a part of the laver, however, it held the water which was used for the actual cleansing and rearranging of the whole nation as they, the nation, became one with the priest, who, as he represented each person, washed the sacrificial blood from his feet and hands at the laver. The water from the laver would wash and remove this blood and its representative guilt and impurity from the hands of the priest and those he represented, leaving them innocent and clean before their holy (clean)2 Creator.

Back then, there were probably only a small percentage of the women from the nation who served at the gate of the tabernacle, and probably a smaller percentage still who gave up their mirrors for the construction of the laver and the pedestal. Nothing has changed today with His spiritual women and mirrors/visions. With Him, it just takes a few.3 But, are there really only a few? What about across our nation? Are there others amassing for this service?

The Serving Women who Served. The Hebrew word for serving and served is no. 6633, "tsa-ba," a primitive root meaning to amass (an army or servants). Brown, Driver, and Briggs defines it as to go forth, to wage war, to fight, to serve. Indeed, there is an army of women (and a few men ) who are amassing at the "tabernacle gate" going forth and waging war against the enemy of lust, impurity and destruction in this matter of abstinence education. They are fighting the good fight in their service to Yahweh and His creation - His ultimate creation - children.4

Doorway. "...who served at the doorway to the tent..." The Hebrew word for door or doorway is Strong's no. 6007, "pe-thach." It means an opening, i.e. a door, a gate or entranceway. Could it be that whether a person controls his or her sex drive is a key issue, a "gateway issue," of whether they can enter Yahweh's door and move towards His spiritual Holy of Holies? In Acts 15, the issue was what to teach the new believers as they were moving towards the fullness of Yahushua5, and abstinence from fornication was one of the four beginning points which were decided upon. If we can control our sex drive, then we can learn self-control in other areas of life, i.e. drugs, alcohol, abusiveness, patience, goodness, kindness. The abstinence - self-control - issue is an "entrance issue." This Hebrew word for doorway comes from another word, no. 6605, "pa-thach," meaning to open wide, specifically to loosen, to plough. Abstinence teachings are to loosen kids from the chains of Satan at the door, entranceway, to Yahweh's house as we "plow new soil," that is, the kids themselves, I Cor. 3:9, in an effort to help them produce good "fruit" in and about themselves.

Why women? Why women who serve at the gateway to the tabernacle/dwelling place of Yah? Why is it primarily women who serve today in the "gateway issues" to the spiritual dwelling place of Yahweh? In his book, What's Wrong with Sex Education?, Melvin Anchell, M.D., states that there are two distinctive psychological features in 10-12 year old preteen children which he calls "Thrusts of Activity."
(1) an increase in activity associated with the desire for independence, and
(2) an increase in activity related to adjusting to adult realities.
He states that this increase in activity to adjust to adult realities in boys is directed outward to achieve goals. In girls, however, this thrust is directed inward to her psyche6 and harbingers7 her later qualities of intuition, empathy, sensitivity, subjectivity and spirituality. And, a young girl's proper adaptation to such will ensure her later ability to understand and grasp life through her extraordinary feminine capacity for these qualities of:
(1) Intuition - the act or faculty of knowing without the use of rational processes; immediate cognition;
(2) Empathy - understanding so intimate that the feelings, thoughts, and motives of one are really comprehended by another;
(3) Sensitivity - the quality of being capable of perceiving with the senses;
(4) Subjectivity - pertaining to the real nature of something; essential, proceeding from the mind, unaffected by the external world; and
(5) Spirituality - the state of being spiritual. Spiritual - having the nature of spirit, not tangible or material.8 Dr. Anchell states that these remarkable feminine qualities are inborn and represent the "eternal core" of the feminine woman, and for these qualities to be effective in later life, the feminine nature must be strengthened throughout puberty and adolescence.

And, what are the required attributes9 for a serving woman and a servant's heart in the abstinence movement? Empathy, intuition, sensitivity, subjectivity, and spirituality! If a nation does not have women with these attributes, that nation is in trouble.

Therefore, why are women indeed ideally designed to serve in these "gateway" issues of life (e.g., abstinence from fornication, Acts 15:20, 29, pro-decency, pro-life, pro-family, etc.)? Because these fundamental, all important gateway issues require an abundance of intuition, empathy, subjectivity, spiritualization, and sensitivity! Why? In order for each person to be imparted with necessary skill, knowledge, understanding, wisdom and talent so that they, in turn, can properly deal with life issues. And, could it be that if young women do not develop these character traits (which, as Dr. Anchell points out, can be destroyed by "comprehensive sex education" and premature exposure to sexual matters which cause these young women to prematurely turn inward, so that their personalities fail to expand and develop into all for which they were designed), then men and women within a nation will not be empowered to overcome the "gateway issues" of life. If these young women fall, does the nation then fall? Deut. 20:1- 510, Lev. 19:29.

Laver. "...he made the laver of bronze..." Strong's no. 3595 describes "ki- yown," the laver, as a washbowl and also a pulpit or platform. A platform, among other things, is defined as a formal declaration of principles on which a group . . . makes its appeal to the public. Is this washbowl or pulpit a picture of the platform of Yahweh's standard of purity by which He, via the movement, appeals to the public? And, how important is this platform or laver? The laver and its water were used only for washing of the High Priest and his descendants, and for those who were in union with (one with) this priest, Exodus 30:18-21. If the priests did not properly wash at the laver, they would die, and there would be no one to guide others to the Holy of Holies. These believers had to be clean in order to minister to and for the public, and they had to use the laver made from the mirrors of the serving women for their washing. Nothing else would do. When we give up our programs and visions (our mirrors) is when Yahweh, via those born of Him (Bezalel, the flame/light), will use such to make His cleansing platform (laver) which will hold the cleansing water of life, Yahushua Himself, John 4:10. Without the laver and the cleansing water, the priest would die and be unable to serve, Exodus 30:17-21. Without the vision (mirrors) of these serving women, the modern day "priest" will die and be unable to serve the people. How will this unclean priest "die"? If he "waters down" the Word, as represented in the Laver, and removes the vision of sexual purity. Where there is no vision, the people (and the priest) perish, Proverbs 29:18.

There are no direct biblical instructions given on how to build the laver and its stand, or pedestal. Round, deep, shallow, square? The instructions were only given as part of the pattern for the tabernacle and its furniture shown by Yahweh to His servant Moses while "in the mountain."
See, he says, that you make all things according to the pattern which was shown you on the mountain. Exodus 25:9
Therefore, we, men and women, His modern day priests (1 Peter 2:9), must be "in the mountain," that is, in Yahushua, the Word (John 1:1) and the Mountain (Daniel 2:35, 45) in order to know how to build His "abstinence lavers" of today. We must be in tune with Him. As we stay in the Word/Mountain first and foremost, then we will know how to build abstinence presentations which function today as did the laver and His tabernacle of old.

Base/Pedestal. "...with its base of bronze..." The laver was supported by a base or pedestal. The Hebrew word is Strong's no. 3653, a stand, i.e., a pedestal. A pedestal is defined as any support or foundation, and as a position of high regard or adoration. Sexual abstinence until marriage builds the character trait (pedestal) of self-control–a foundation, a position of high regard and adoration. Without self-control a person is unable to develop into a kind, firm, compassionate, complete individual. Self-control is a person's foundation of support. Yahweh's position of sexual abstinence until marriage is this position of high regard, a position of adoration which builds self-control. Adoration means an act of worship, profound love or regard. Adorable means worthy of or enlisting worship. It also means delightful, lovable, and charming. Does the purity of the wedding gown and the delightful, lovable, charming virgin bride and her wedding picture this? We are to worship Yahweh only, but does the beauty of a pure bride in her wedding gown bring out worship of Him, our Creator?

Strong's no. 3653 is also the same word as no. 3651 which is defined as to set upright, rightly. It comes from a word meaning proper and to be erect. Yes, virginity until marriage is upright, right, proper, and it is erect. It is all of the above! It is the base or pedestal, the foundation, on which abstinence programs stand. Virginity until marriage produces self-control. Self-control produces good character. A nation with its base, pedestal, or foundation of self- control will endure. A nation out of control will fall.

But, what about abstinence teachers who themselves did not save their virginity for marriage?

Bronze. "...the laver of bronze with its base of bronze..." This word, Strong's no. 5178, sometimes rendered "copper" or "brass" in our scriptures, is defined as copper, but figuratively it means base (as compared with gold or silver). And, Brown, Driver, and Briggs states that it has the uncertain meaning of lust and harlotry. The laver and the base or pedestal were made of bronze mirrors. The point? Yahweh can take a person of lust and harlotry (pictured as bronze) and turn that person into a beautiful laver for washing of His priests. Consider, for example, the woman at the well (John 4:18, 19, and 39), Mary Magdalene from whom Yahushua cast out demons (Mark 16:9), and the woman caught in the act of adultery (John 8:1-11). A lot of folks in the abstinence ministry have, via the saving grace of Yahushua, turned their former baseness of lust and harlotry into a cleansing laver. Yahushua will use this former baseness to set children upright and help them become just, right, proper, and erect (as pictured in the pedestal).

Copper and bronze are ductile and malleable - excellent conductors of heat and electricity, and widely used in parts either pure or in alloys. Abstinence presenters are such. They are to render the hearts of the kids capable of being easily molded and shaped into a pure good heart, soft and pliable. Hard hearts are hurtful. Soft hearts are kind. The presentations are to produce a malleable, soft heart - capable of being shaped and formed into a beautiful person of self-control by our Maker Himself. The presentations are to be conductors - conducting people and kids (via their union with the High Priest Himself) into the very Holy of Holies.

Bezalel. "Moreover, he [Bezalel] made..." Who was the one who was to make the laver and its base of bronze from the mirrors of the serving women who served at the doorway of the tent of meeting? Bezalel. He was "the son of Uri whom Yahweh called by name to superintend the construction of His tabernacle, Exodus 31:1-11. He was not only filled with wisdom, but also power to devise cunning works, and to work all manner of workmanship," Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament, Number 1212. Also, in The Dictionary of Old Testament Names, Alfred Jones states that Uri (no. 221), the father of Bezalel, means light of God. Strong's says it means fiery. It comes from a base word, no. 217, meaning flame. Is not Uri a picture of Yahushua, the light of the world, the one who in Revelation 1:14 is described as having eyes as a fiery flame? And who are Yahushua's (Uri's) descendants, His children? We, His born again believers! We are born (again) of Uri, the light/flame of the Most High, Hebrews 2:13. Bezalel's name means in the shadow of El/God. We are to stay so close to our Savior and walk so close to Him that we never get out of His shadow. We are to superintend the construction of His tabernacle, that is, His people, in whom He dwells, 1 Corinthians 6:19, Revelation 21:3. Abstinence teachers are to be some of His modern-day Bezalels. And, as stated of Bezalel in Exodus 31:3, Yahweh gives us power to devise cunning works, "cunning works" to combat the cunning ways of the "safe sex crowd." Yes, when we give up our programs and visions (our mirrors) is when Yahweh, via those born of Him, the flame/light, that is, Bezalel, will use us and our works to build His platform or pulpit (laver) which will hold Yahushua - the pure water of life-virgin pure.

Tent (tabernacle). "...who served at the doorway of the tent..." The Hebrew word for tent, no. 168, "o-hel," means a tent (as clearly conspicuous from a distance). It comes from a root word, no. 166, "ahal," meaning to be clear. It should be clearly conspicuous to anyone that the issue boils down to sexual purity or sexual impurity, self-control or no self- control. Yahweh will only dwell with, and allow into His kingdom, purity. He will not dwell with, nor allow into His kingdom, uncleanness and impurity with its resultant hurt and harm. This should be as clear as the nose on our face. Therefore, true abstinence teachings are clearly directive in nature, directing people to purity.

Meeting/Congregation. "...of the tent of meeting (tent of the congregation)." Yahweh's tent is the tent of meeting, also called the tent of the congregation. The Hebrew word, no. 4150, also means an appointment. And, all of mankind has an appointment with our Maker. The reason for the appointment? To determine if we are pure or impure, holy or unholy. It derives from a word, no. 3259, "ya-ad," which, by implication, means to meet or to summon (to trial), to direct, and to engage (for marriage). The big issue? Are we, those summoned to trial, found worthy, found pure, for engagement to THE groom Himself, Yahushua? Are we found worthy for marriage to The Lamb? All of mankind has been summoned (called) to trial. Those who are found worthy (chosen) are then engaged for marriage to the Bridegroom. And, Yahweh will only take a pure, virgin bride for His son. Therefore, abstinence presentations should summon mankind to trial with teachings to determine if they are ready/qualified for engagement in marriage to the groom par excellence - i.e., Yahushua - the son of Yahweh, the eternal Father.

So, yes, women, serving women who give their mirrors/visions to His service, have a part, a big part, in helping people, especially children and youth, move into the very presence, the Holy of Holies, of their Maker, who, via His Son, desires to be their eternal bridegroom, husband and protector.
